Hubert J!’s work is prized by collectors throughout the United States and is part of the extensive art collection at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles as well as numerous other hospitals throughout the area. Publication includes "Gone Fishing" in the National Geographic Traveler Calendar and the illustration of feature articles in "Inside Magazine". Several of his images have placed in professional photographic competitions over the last ten years. Exhibits include the China Collection during December 2000 at d’Elegance Gallery in Santa Monica, California and Faces of Africa at Fara Fina Gallery in Marina Del Rey, California during October-November 1999.

Prior to becoming a photographer, he never engaged or communicated with strangers when traveling. Now Hubert J! states, "I communicate with the people I meet through conversation and animation, which gives me the ability to capture not only the physical appearance but the essence of my subjects. Although I have visited six of the seven continents, to me the world remains a beautiful place with an inexhaustible list of places and people still to see."
